~ Meet Mikaela ~

I am a highly skilled, results-driven, International Retail Business Strategist. I have held multiple coveted positions with companies such as Prada, Free People and Mango.

I studied Fashion Merchandising and Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and furthered my studies by spending a year in Florence, Italy at the prestigious Polimoda.

After graduating with my Bachelors of Science degree, I immediately moved to Belize, Central America where I spent years revitalizing a chain of retail gift shops as their Business Developer and Senior Operations Manager. I managed comprehensive operations of 8 retail stores. I supervised, recruited, and trained a staff of 45+ employees. I moved the company from multiple years of revenue decline into a positive revenue growth in the first 12 months. I accomplished this growth by implementing a strategic plan, reshaping the company’s overall business practices and objectives. I supervised purchasing, attended world-renowned buying trade shows, and implemented an OTB and stock analysis procedures. I rebranded and renovated all eight stores within the defined budgets and project timeframes.

Most recently, I have gathered together my career knowledge, experience, and skills from working and living in Belize to launch my own consulting business. I have retained numerous reputable companies in Belize as clients such as Hilton, Marriott, and several other local family owned businesses. Day-to-day you can find me providing my clients with my business expertise. From designing gift shops, to buying and merchandising products, to managing their social media accounts. I enjoy constantly providing ideas to drive their businesses further success!
